The World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank convened the Second Global Gender Oil, Gas and Mining Conference on March 3-4, 2021. The EGP and UNDP Peru shared lessons on “Closing Gender Gaps in Practice” and delivered a presentation on participatory environmental monitoring in Peru.
The EGP also hosted a Virtual Booth on Voice and Agency, featuring discussions with the facilitators of the MOOC on Gender in Mining Governance and with the conflict and environmental governance expert Nancy Bahomande Quinteros, UNDP Peru.
The virtual booth features video testimonials and learning resources from the EGP and the Intergovernmental Forum on Mining, Minerals, Metals, and Sustainable Development (IGF), which is an implementing partner of the EGP.
